Margot Hanley

Margot is a PhD student in Information Science at Cornell Tech in New York City. Her research interests lie in the social and ethical factors underlying the production of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. Margot also creates research-based artwork and artifacts, probing and articulating obscured realities of institutions, supply chains, and procurement processes. Her most recent work- Last Meal Receipts- is currently on display at Mmuseumm in New York City. She holds a Bachelors in Economics from Oberlin College and a Masters in Sociology from Columbia University in New York.
