To mark the 3rd anniversary of COVID in New York City, the MISSING THEM project is partnering with Photoville to bring stories and obits from our project to community spaces in the Bronx and Queens. The free, public exhibit opens today in two locations: the Bronx Documentary Center and Moore Homestead Playground in Elmhurst, Queens. It will be on view until May 31. In addition to the obits, The Bronx location will also feature photos and stories from the recent CJI project on kids who lost their parents to COVID.
We strongly encourage everyone to go see this powerful work.
Full information on the exhibit can be found at photoville.com/projects/missing-them.
Congratulations to the incredible work by Anjali Tsui, The City, and the MISSING THEM team!
