Sina Semnani

Sina is a PhD student in the Natural Language Processing Group at Stanford University. His research focuses on creating reliable AI tools to make human knowledge more accessible and to produce new knowledge from large text corpora. Notably, his work on enabling people to “talk” to Wikipedia in 10 languages has been recognized with the Wikimedia Foundation Research Award of the Year. Currently, he is developing tools to help scholars, students, and teachers of history interact with, study, and access historical corpora more effectively.
