Impact Fellow, Stanford University
Ross Ewald is the 2021 Impact Fellow at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation and a graduate student studying journalism at Stanford University. At the Brown Institute, she is helping support the Impact and Magic Grant recipients as well as outreach efforts across the university community. As an undergraduate, Ross studied cybersecurity through Stanford’s Individually Designed Major program, with a particular research focus on political misinformation, privacy, and child safety. She is passionate about applying engineering, data analysis, and open source investigation techniques to uncover new stories about technology.
