Jasmine Maze is a Cleveland, Ohio native whose early experiences of education inequality inspired her to become a teacher in 2007 after studying Economics and International Affairs at The George Washington University (GWU). After several years teaching in Prince George’s County, MD, she received a Master’s of Science in Education at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), where she was recognized for academic excellence, leadership, collaboration, and transformative impact. After JHU, Jasmine moved back to her hometown to be a part of the Cleveland Transformation Plan. She supported a portfolio of principals as an Action Team Coach to the city’s most struggling schools before stepping into the principalship of Cleveland High School for the Digital Arts (CHSDA). She led CHSDA school from failure-status into a state recognized Momentum-Award recipient. She now brings her passion for the intersection of learning, art, and technology to the Kinfolk Team as Chief Operations Officer.
