Yasmine Mitchell is a Stanford Computer Science coterminal student with interests in cybersecurity, machine learning, and misinformation studies. In addition to conducting research as part of the Stanford Systems and Networking research group, she currently serves as President of Stanford Applied Cybersecurity and the Stanford Video Game Association. Yasmine competes yearly as part of the university’s Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition and Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition teams. In the past, she participated in disinformation research at the Stanford Internet Observatory, in addition to her work in STEM education as part of Inspirit AI’s High School Scholars program.
