Katy Ilonka Gero is a third year PhD student in Computer Science at Columbia University advised by Professor Lydia Chilton. She designs co-creative tools to support complex tasks; her tool Metaphoria suggests to writers potential metaphorical connections between two ideas. Katy is a poet and essayist, a graduate of the School for Poetic Computation, and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
