Wen Chen

Program Manager, Stanford University

Wen oversees finance and administration for the Brown Institute, supporting its members and the Stanford faculty director.   She manages the Brown Institute media innovation program events, funds, Magic Grant Program and communication materials.

Wen analyzes and interprets financial data and policies for the institute. She monitors, approves, and processes expenditures, ensuring compliance with sponsor and university guidelines as well as budget requirements.

Prior to joining the Brown Institute, Wen worked in Research Administration and External Relations at Stanford School of Engineering.

Wen received her undergraduate degree from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. She holds a Certified Public Accountant license (inactive) from the state of Massachusetts.  Wen grew up on islands around the Pacific Basin. When not hard at work, she can most likely be found working hard on her tan at the beach.
